These terms apply when you use the Zelto website and our valuation service. By using the site you agree to them.
What we provide
Zelto gives practical guidance about selling property at auction and can arrange for our network of auction partners to assist with your sale. Zelto does not give regulated legal or financial advice. You should take independent legal and financial advice before you sell.
Our fee
Sellers pay a 0% Sales Fee: no commission, no agency fee and nothing deducted from the sale price. You remain responsible for your own costs, including your solicitor’s conveyancing fees. A buyer pays a non-refundable reservation fee of 5% + VAT, with a minimum of £5,000 + VAT, which does not count toward the purchase price.
Valuations and sales
A valuation is our honest view and not a guarantee of price or of a sale. Completion timings of 28 or 56 days are typical and can vary by auction partner. Legal steps such as exchange of contracts described on this site follow England and Wales; the process in Scotland differs.
Our responsibility
We take care over the information on this site but cannot promise it is always complete or up to date. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, subject to your rights as a consumer.
